Made to Measure Programs

DiverCity design half day or full day training programs to meet specific organisational objectives. These provide delegates with an awareness of diversity related issues within a framework of Equality, Fairness, Community and Race Relations. We aim to build bridges of respect, cooperation and productivity in reaching organisational goals and developing individuals understanding in how to support their organisation and its partners in the delivery of an equitable quality of service.

  • Understand the meaning of Diversity and Equal Opportunities.
  • Understand the concept of Proportional Treatment as opposed to Equal Treatment.
  • Explain the terms: Values, Attitudes, Beliefs, Prejudice and Discrimination.
  • Understand how personal values and beliefs can affect attitude and behaviour.
  • Recognise the effect of their behaviour on other people (both colleagues and members of the public) and the need to challenge in-appropriate behaviour in others.
  • Understand prejudice and discrimination and how it manifests itself both internally and externally.
  • Ensure they behave within current legislation and guidelines and understand how legislation underpins equality and diversity in the workplace and society.
